Bricks NFT project was founded by Lee Spielman and Garrett Stevenson. These guy are also founders of influential streetwear label Babylon LA and members of band Trash Talk.
What is Bricks NFT collection about?
BRICK will be a hybrid space in Los Angeles offering a music venue by night and a community-driven creative space by day. From live performances to music lessons from some of the best artists in the world, to silk screen workshops at Ledger, financial literacy and crypto security classes, BRICK will be an arts and education hub for the community.
BRICK will host monthly blowout concerts, each featuring unique “tour t-shirts” and posters designed in collaboration with renowned graphic artists. BRICK NFT holders gain voting rights for the program at the venue and unlimited free access to one guest performance and workshop per event. Non-LA residents can access the programming of all concerts and classes through the land purchased by BRICK in the Metaverse.

What will bringing physical music to the metaverse achieve?
Building physical places that mirror the metaverse demonstrates what is possible when harnessing the power of NFTs and communities at scale. Clickbait buzzwords make headlines these days just to try and draw negative attention to the field.
We believe that connecting like-minded people from all over the world is a beautiful thing that is not always possible. We love the idea of people from all over the world sitting in their living rooms learning new skills with others in our physical space in Los Angeles. It is time for change.
When we started out as creatives, we didn’t have those resources, so we’re excited to create this space. We wish we had grown like this. Teleporting to a location, seeing your favorite band in a curated immersive experience, and then hopefully walking away with some life-changing information at the same time is something we as a society don’t do.
Future goals
Through high-level curation and planning, we will open a music venue and education center.
The idea is to provide irreplaceable experience and knowledge. It will be fun to get the community and people from all over the world involved in how this looks like. Choose your own adventure story to accompany you along the way.
We talked about everything from art exhibitions, themed parties, DIY screen printing workshops, photo labs, curated dinner parties for people on and off the web 3.0, and combining the two. The possibilities are endless.
We don’t place any restrictions on the BRICK community as to where they can lead. This place isn’t about us as “founders,” it’s about America as a whole community. We just want to be the catalyst for some cool, memorable experiences along the way.

Bricks Partnerships
Bricks have made a lot of partnerships, one of them – Ledger. Bricks founders know Ian, Parker and Steven from ledger for a long time. They had done business in the past.
Some altruistic detail from this partnership is that Bricks main goal with Ledger partnership is to educate artists about crypto and crypto security. We want people to learn and receive education.
Streetwear brand experience guarantees that clothing and brand collaborations are to be expected and will play a vital role in Bricks.
Community response
Bricks got a great community, especially in LA. We think LA would love it – it’s definitely missing a great, new, well-curated music scene. It definitely needs some change. Los Angeles is a place that stands for what it stands for.
We can’t wait to invite people and create memories they will remember for a lifetime. At the end of the day, if we can improve our individual experiences with each other through Web3, it’s a win for everyone.
